I moved to Stevenage in 1990 and I have been here ever since. I worked in Financial Services until 2015, before taking a career break to spend more time with my younger children and also to undertake voluntary work. Since 2019 I have been employed by Stevenage Citizens Advice who provide free impartial advice to the residents of Stevenage. I have always loved sport and have played both cricket and rugby for the town teams. My partner and I have 3 children, all schooled locally. I love working with people and helping them find solutions to the challenges that they face in life.
In our first 34 years, we gave out more than £2 million in grants to help local people and organisations.
We could not have realised this without the generosity of our supporters and our aim is to build on the these rock solid foundations and be even more impactful for our community as we focus on the next 15 years towards our 50th anniversary.Robert Stewart - President
