Alexander Bradley Clarkson is a professional West End theatre, film and television actor, having trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and then Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Prior to his drama school training, he read Government and History at the LSE. In 2021 he became a partner agent at talent agency Associated International Management (A.I.M.), a company now proudly Hertfordshire based, having recently moved to the Production Village at Elstree Studios.
As an actor he has headlined a variety of major charity fundraisers for good causes around the country and is proud to have collaborated with producer Bill Kenwright on a number of community talent shows designed to engage with young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. He has worked with former Mayor of Stevenage Margaret Notley producing and starring in her charity concert at the Gordon Craig Theatre, recently ran a charity auction raising £20,000 for Tilehouse Counselling and was a former ambassador for The Alzheimers Society, opening their ‘Walk for Life’ in Fairlands Valley Park. He is passionate about the benefits ‘the arts’ give to mental health and wellbeing across people of all ages. For two years he hosted ‘The What’s On Show with Bradley Clarkson’, a weekly Stevenage community radio show on SG1 Radio. He is a director of Paws Playfield Datchworth Ltd, running a 5.5 acre enclosed playfield and woodland area providing a stress free environment for dogs and their owners.
Alexander has lived in Datchworth all his life, and Stevenage is his home town. As a new trustee at Stevenage Community Trust, he is hugely looking forward to giving back to the place that has given him so much.
In our first 34 years, we gave out more than £2 million in grants to help local people and organisations.
We could not have realised this without the generosity of our supporters and our aim is to build on the these rock solid foundations and be even more impactful for our community as we focus on the next 15 years towards our 50th anniversary.Robert Stewart - President
